This is how Voss MD in 1992 described the success of the Frontline series - a series of built-in hobs and electric ovens for the contemporary kitchen. Before Frontline the market had looked more or less the same for about 20 years. But Voss saw a new business opportunity in developing products that also met aesthetical demands.This turned out to be a wise decision: With its elegant eyebrowmotif - tying oven and hob together as well as signaling where controls could be found - Voss Frontline was an instant success, providing Voss with a large increase in market share on both domestic and international markets.
